Shenmue 3 Officially Announced

This is NOT a Joke at all. Something any die hard Dreamcast gamer would only dream about. There was a huge suprise at Sony's Playstation conference at E3. There are usually some pretty cool surprises for the gamers of today, with exclusive titles for the latest systems. However, we don't think anyone could have been prepared for just what was actually announced. It's been 14 years of waiting for the very long awaited next chapter of the Shenmue series. Shenmue 3

Shenmue 3 will have familiar elements from its predecessors and new fight mechanics to achieve a new level of interactive storytelling.
If this project reaches its funding goal, Shenmue 3 will be available on the PS4 and PC.
Our ambition is to deliver a Shenmue experience that will draw in newcomers to the series and reward diehard fans with its deep story and rich gameplay.

For fans of the original game, this is absolutely GREAT news. The very first Shenmue set the standard for the style of gameplay we now see in many, many modern games. We'll keep you posted here as things develop.
