One of the most curious releases to be linked to the series created by Satoshi Tajiri over twenty years ago is undoubtedly Pokémon Typing Adventure. Released in Japan in April exclusively for Nintendo DS, DSi and 3DS, this title also bundled with a wireless keyboard for connecting to your Nintendo DS if you decided to use instead of touchscreen. It's an ingenious way for kids to learn how to type on a keyboard, and the addition of the wireless keyboard only re-inforces the learning qualities of the game itself. While we expect epic battles and Pokemon style fighting with any game title with that word in the name, in this case, it all about the learning instead of the fighting.
Leave it to Japanese game creators to come up with new and intriguing ways to utilize any number of their massive game franchises. While it's not a game we would play around here in the office, we're sure that they are lots and lots of kids that would actually enjoy learning how to type of they were doing it with the help of their favorite Pokemon characters. This game is not the first instance of learning with some of your favotire game characters. There have been several Mario themes games that taught kids how to spell, read and write.
As it is with any kid though, the chance of loosing your game card is very real. With having to swap out the game card each time you want to play a new game, the likelihood of misplacing on of your games is actually pretty easy for a child to do. That's why we're happy to say that backing up your Pokémon Tying Adventure using our R4 3DS is as easy as any other game for your NDS/3DS. Just imagine, all your favorites Pokémon games on one card is a LOT better than carrying 10 games and boxes around. You can also keep your original game cards in pristine condition tucked away on a shelf, helping to maintain a high re-sale value. Games always sell for better prices when you have the original box and have a game that is in AS NEW condition.
There is the main mode where you jounery with Pokémon, mini-games and even boss battles at the end of each level! Developed by Genius Sonority , Pokémon Typing has been a huge success in Japan, as of today it has sold over 200,000 copies alone. Now that it has finally arrived in Europe, this is MUST play game for all owners of DS, Dsi or Nintendo 3DS Consoles - and naturally, all Pokemon Fans!
