LemmingsDS
A very very addictive classic game first seen on Amiga Personal Computer in the year 1980s, with it amazing gameplay it instantly became a big hit and now a must-have classic on your R4 Flash Card even in today standard. With it worldwide success and popularity, Lemmings later on been port to various PC and console alike, Commodore64, IBM PC, Super Nintendo, Genesis, Playstation2 just to name a few, in fact, it has been ported over across 39 individual systems and counting!
We won't go into too much details of the gameplay itself as we all know by now or most of us have already played either one or two lemmings titles on one of your consoles, if you have not, then please get yourself LemmingsDS a.s.a.p. we guarantee that you won't be disappointed. As always, you only need your Nintendo DS and one of our R4 3DS Flash Cards to enjoy to this amazing title on the go. Which brings us to this point, as much as Lemmings has recieved such demands from players alike worldwide, suprisingly Lemmings somehow have never made it to the official Nintendo DS portable system. A few years back when players from around the world were patiently waiting for the next lemmings to be on the Nintendo DS to be released - it ended up not actually happening. Neither a sequel or remake was made.
Since Sony has owned the rights to this title, the chances of an actual port was quite slim and then that is when thrid-parties / fans themself took it upon it to start from a scratch programming in order to remake this title as Homebrew so everyone can enjoy it. Now, the early concept was just to port its early title or the very first installment in the series, which was Lemmings 1 if you will. As they were working on it thought, the authors decided to make the game even more epic by adding "oh no! more lemmings" known as Lemmings 2 stages onto the same game, then the developers went even further, and added the rest of the lemmings games too including Lemmings Xmas 91 , 92 , 93 and 94 !
And the story goes on. The latest release of LemmingsDS now with version 7.04 as of May 2013 , we are now looking at whopping 292 levels in one NDS Lemmings game, it could take you upto 100 Plus hours just to finish the whole game! (although i myself have never gotten so far.....sadly)

With that, LemmingsDS is definitely one of our ALL-TIME homebrew game favorites, not only for the author's daunting afforts and accomplishments for fans from fans, but they even one up on the orginial title by adding more contents to what has already been a timeless game. The game itself is flawless, dual screen support and you do use both screens just like any other titles on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS, beautiful color schemes from top to bottom, "Zoom functions" which was never implemented on the orginial titles.. wish it did though. all in all we give this game an 11/10.
