R4 3DS .org

We've been hard at work here at R43DS.org and have been working to bring out a new firmware for our premier line of 3DS Flash Carts.  We're proud to announce the release of our R4 3DS Dual Core 6.1.0 updated firmware.  This new firmware adds support for the latest Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL 6.1.0 updates, and brings full compatibility for our cards on the new system version.  You'll be pleased to know that if you have the 2013 version of our cards, they just work, with a quick update using the firmware updater, and installation of our newest kernel files.  

You'll be happy to know as well that unlike most other cards on the market today, that aim to have 6.1.0 compatibility, you won't have to open your dual core card and cut any traces on the card at all.  We've made out cards future proof, as we tend to always try and do, to ensure that kernel updates are no more than a quick copy and paste of new files to your card.  We don't expect you to open your cards and cut traces or make hardware modification to your R4.  That would be risky and not something most customers would feel comfortable doing.

You can update your card using any DS or DSi system, or even a 3DS or 3DS XL that is BELOW the 6.1.0 or 6.0 system OS.  Simply run our firmware updated found in our R4 3DS Firmware section and follwo the on screen prompts to update your card.  once the firmware update has run its course, you need only remove your old kernel files from your micro SD card, and copy our latest kernel files to the micro SD card for full 6.0 and 6.1.0 support.

Some compatibility improvements have also made their way in to this new firmware, bringing with it support for some of the newest games and applications.  The cheat code database has also been updated, so you'll be able to get even more cheat codes that make your gaming loads of fun!
