IGN is reporting that a Nikkei report, translated by Dr. Serkan Toto on Twitter has some news regarding the lifespan of Nintendo's Wii U system. The newspaper said Nintendo has already stopped / ceased manufacturing some Wii U accessories, with the company planning to deplete its inventory by the end of the year. While these are still just the accessories, production of the Wii U system itself will cease by the end of 2016. It looks like the Wii U has run it's course, but worry not Wii U Fans. Back inventory and stock already at retailers will however still be available. And let's not forget that the end of the year is still a long way from today.
