As you would expect, we do release minor updates with additional fixes, but the cards themselves continue to function trouble free.

You can, nevertheless, rest assured that if your R4 3DS card or R4 3DS Dual Core cards ever needed an update, the R4 3DS team is constantly fast at work and generally a new firmware is available within just hours of any system updates that could potentially render the R4 cards unrecognized. Bear in mind that all that happens if a new update is released that requires a new firmware is no more than just a quick copy and pasting over of the new firmware files to the R4 3DS cards and you will be back up and running again.
