More R4 3DS Emulation Goodies!

R4 3DS owners can once again take advantage of some of the coolest homebrew and freeware that only the good old hombrew scene has to offer.  More emulation news below.

We're huge fans of everything Turbo Grafx here.  Always have been big TG16 fans, and love playing those old games on our new Nintendo 3DS console.  Today we're happy to announce that NitroGrafx has been updated and is available now in our 3DS homebrew download section.  The latest version of the DS homebrew TG16 emulator sports some new fixes which include fixing for graphis rendering and actually optimised every aspect of this emulator to be able to better load and run all CD-ROM  (PC-CD) games.  Also, R-Type, Gradius, Parodius and Street Fighter 2 are just some of the many games that are now very playable graphics wise.  

The biggest update?  It's now compatible with all 2048 titles and supports for 1024 wide tilemaps has also been included.  Thanks Flubba for your Hard Work!

And in the spirit of this excellent update, we're going to spend some time throughout this week reviewing some of our favorte Turbo Grafx 16 / PC Engine games that you can download and play right away using NitroGrafx on your Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS Systems.  There were so many great games for the TG that we know we're going to find it hard to come up with just a select few, so we would love to get some feedback from all of you to give us some suggestions on which games you would like to see reviewed.  Video of the games playing on the DS, DSi and 3DS to follow as well!
