The Neo Geo AES (arcade entertainment system) brought real arcade games right to your home TV screen.  Truly.  It wasn't a port of a game you played at home, or some remake with limited capabilities, but the actual Neo Geo Arcade game that you could take home and play anytime you wanted to feel like you were dropping quarter for coins in to the arcade system.  It brought us some of the very best home console games ever made.  Game franchises like Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, and countless others.

You can play your old Neo geo classics on your Nintendo 3DS with the help of an R4 3DS Card, or you can get the 20th Anniversary edition of the Neo Geo Gold X system.  This bundle includes an original Neo Geo Console (in the form of a docking station - allowing you to connect your hand held and play it on the TV), the arcade stick that made it everything that it was, and of course, the new hand held Neo Geo that will allow you to take your arcade gaming with you no mater where you are or what you're doing.  It comes with 20 built in games in the little handheld system, which makes for a truly amazing retro arcade experience at home - and you won't have to go hunting for any of the games either.  The games include:

Now, if you have a DS, DSi or the Nintendo 3DS, and an R4 3DS or R4i Card,  you'll want to download a copy of the NeoDS emulator.  This emulator will load and run all of the home and arcade versions of the very best Neo Geo games ever made (read: ALL OF THEM) and you'll be able to play them back on your Nintendo DS, DSi and Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL console, just as if you were actually sitting in front of your TV screen and playing these games.  However you get to play these games, be it with an emulator on your 3DS or the actual Neo Geo X console, make sure you do.  These games were revolutionary back when they were released - and they will continue to bring hours and hours of fun for new and older gamers alike.
