One of the best things that comes out of the homebrew is the pure passion and devotion of the coders and developers that create and make some of the most unique and must have applications and games for the DS, DSi and Nintendo 3DS systems.  In case you don't know, or don't realize, homebrew developers are not paid for creating their amazing games and applications.  They do it for the love of the code, the love of making something that they can then give away and share with the rest of the world.  It's this pure love and devotion to the art of creating and designing your own app or your own game, that keeps the homebrew scene alive - and makes the R4 3DS and R4i cards an invaluable add on or addition to your favourite hand held console.

And it's this dedication and love of the homebrew world that has created probably one of the best - if not THE BEST 3rd party firmware kernel for our R4 DS brand of flash card for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSI and Nintendo 3DS systems.  That firmware is none other then the famous Wood R4 firmware.  It's the firmware that most gamers love to have.  Not only is it constantly updated and always supported by the developers (The Goblin and Another World), but it also has the ability to breathe new life in to even the very first R4 cards, by adding more support for games and applications and updating cards that are no able to play the latest and creates homebrew, games and applications.
