Loading... Please wait...It's not often that the homebrew and development community put up a red flag against any new udpates for the Nintendo 3DS systems. However, in the case of the newest v5.0.0-11 update, the homebrew development community advises completely against updating your consoles to the new system version. They don't make this recommendation lightly. Often times, these updates don't bring a whole lot more features to your console, but in the case of this new v5.0.0-11 Nintendo 3DS update, there are some features - namely being able to hack the system in the future through some open exploits. While this warning may very well be a temporary one - as the development community may end up finding new exploits... but as it stands right now, they advise against updating to this new 3ds v5.0.0-11 update.
Having siad that, our R4 3DS Dual Core card and many of our other cards work perfectly on the new Nintendo 3DS update. But below you'll find the quote from gbatemp.net
And we quote:
"The newest 3DS update 5.0.0-11 was released earlier this week. If you have any interest in the 3DBrew scene, then it is advised that you leave your firmware at 4.5.0-10. Even if your flashcard still works after the latest update, there are a number of internal vulnerabilities that have been patched, which could compromise the ability to run potential softmods.
