We never cease to be amazed by some of the unique and wonderful homebrew games and applications that come from developers that make them, for no money, no real personal gain (The games and apps are always free) - but simply for the love of making something themselves, and then sharing it with the homebrew community.  That's what makes the homebrew scene so fascinating.  

Krystal DS (Renamed from the original name of Colors) is one of those games that again, that truly makes us appreciate the hard work that these developers put in to creating games.  This game is a mix of a Tetris style game mixed in with the old Colums style game.  You have to work to mix and match the colors from the falling tiles and match them up with what's already on the screen.  As you match them, entire lines will disappear.  While the premise may be simple, the truth is that these types of puzzle games are very addictive as well as have endless replay value.  

Bearing in mind that this game is still in the Alpha stage, the game is very much a work in progress.  However, we've been playing it here for a good 45 - 60 minutes, and it is a lot of fun.  Not to mention that the game itself is free to download, play and of course, share with anyone that has an R4 3DS Card to use it with.
