UPDATE: You can now upgrade to the 2.2 Version of the 3DS as our original R4 3DS Card will work perfectly on this version.  If you're looking for a solution for the newest 3DS V3.0.0-5, our R4 3DS RTS Card will work just perefect, even on this newest system update.

There are times when updates are needed, to fix bugs or issue, or to make something even better, and then there are times they are now.  For our R4 3DS owners out there with the R4 3DS Cards, if you are prompted to update your Nintendo 3DS to version 2.2, make sure you decline and wait until our new firmware kernel is released with 2.2 support.  As of this writing, version 2.1.3 is fully compatible, and the programmers are hard at work to make the newest R4 kernel compatible with the new 2.2 version of the 3DS system software as well.  Until then though, please leave your current Nintendo 3DS at the present firmware, without updating.  

Updates are NOT mandatory, and you'll be able to continue playing all of your games and apps, and enjoy all of the features of your Nintendo 3DS system without having to move up to the newer version of the 3ds system software.

As always, we'll keep you all posted with updates and information right here in this space, once we have the new R4 3DS kernel compatible with this new 2.2 system.  As a special note to our visitors who are looking to puchase their own R4 3DS cards - You don't need to worry about bricking of your 3DS.  This update, much like all other 3ds updates adds a feature or two, and perhaps some enhancements.  But our cards will be compatible very soon.  If you do have a 3DS and update, the R4 3DS won't work until our new firmware kernel is released, and that is the only reason why we recommend not doing any updates until you are ready.
