I bought this for the kids so that we can have multiple games on one card and not have to take all of our 20 different cartridges with us (and have some get lost as they have many times before). It's great to have all of the kids games on just one cartridge. And it is very easy to use. I plan on getting one for myself just for the emulators so I can play some of MY favorite games from the NES and Gameboy Color

I bought this and I think it is amazing but I just noticed the Dual Core? Which one is better? This product is already perfect I can't imagine anything better than it! In conclusion, what is better? R4-3DS-RTS OR R4-3DS-DUALCORE?
ANSWER: Both cards are equally good, but the R4 3DS RTS is the higher end model with Real Time Save Features built in.

If you like classic gaming and retro games like the NES or Snes or even the Sega Mega Drive, then this is the card you have to get. I bought this with the intention of playing some of the homebrew games available online, and then I stumbled on some emulators for this thing. HOLY CRAP! It is an amazing card. I see dingoo systems and other retro consoles going for over $100.00, and this R4 basically lets you have like all of the old retro consoles and the games, so your 3DS is like the best emulator console available.
Must have if you love emulators and classics. Going to try the Neo Geo Emulator next, which from what I see, works amazing.

This is the absolute best card I have ever used, and I have used a lot of them, from the original R4 DS and the R4i SDHC and then now this. This is the best card of them all, and the real time save is amazing for those games that I want to save DURING game play.

I was so worried when I kept reading about what people were having to do just to get their cards to work on the 3DS 6.0.. so when I accidentally updated my 3ds xl, I figured I was either going to have to buy a new card, or I would have to cut traces on the mother board like others have had to do with other types of cards. I came back to this site, and saw they had a new firmware available for the 6.0... and then the 6.1.0 updates. I was super surprised, as most card makers had to make new cards to allow them to work, so people were out the money and had a card they couldn't use. I'm so glad I went with this site, and this card, instead of one of the other ones that's now telling people they have to buy a whole new card!

I want to buy an R4 card and this is my first time so I dont know anything about this. I dont see anywhere here for contact or help information so I will put this here. I am wondering which R4 card is best for 3ds xl and overall best card that can play ds games(maybe 3ds too)I am stuck between R4 3DS RTS and R4 3DS Dual Core cards. witch one is better? witch1 is the newest card and best, please help? XD i rated 4 stars cause i dont really see all the info i need to make a purchase especially for first timers but i can change it later ^^
Answer: you can always use our contact us page for more details. Both the r4 RTS and he dual core version are equally as good and will perform most of the same tasks, with the exception of the real time save, which is only in the rts version of the card.

I love this cars. I bought it for the media play back functions and then found out later about some cool emulators for the R4 3DS card. I ended up getting 3 different emulators. The Atari 2600 emulator (stella DS), NesDS (for my nintendo entertainment system games) and jNesis, which runs my Sega Genesis games. I kind of feel like I have a hand held version of all of these systems, and I know there are a bunch more emulators out there that I haven't even tried. Woot!

Okay, so guys, this site is not a scam! It actually is real. I ordered this product a month and a half ago! I ordered the R4 Gold for my 3ds but received this as an upgrade. I waited so long that I figured it was a scam, but really it was just customs delaying the shipment, and when I email them, I didn't think I got a response back until weeks later, but ended up finding it in my spam folder. So I filed a report with my credit card and had them give me back my money giving up hope on this product.
Well, just yesterday, I got this small package in the male and lord behold, there was the R4! So, I loaded it up on my 3ds to test it out. It loaded nothing. I then remembered I had to download firmware onto my old r4 to make it work. Once I did, I got the card to work and now I'm playing all my nds games on my 3DS XL and having a ball. I called back up my credit card company and told them it was a mistake and not a scam site and for them to take back my money. I am here to tell you guys that not to worry, this site is awesome, slow at some responses and shipping but I guess since it's coming from all over the world, it took some time and eventually they did send me a email to let me know it had been shipped.
So be patient, it will come in the mail. Mine took a month and a half. But this is the first r4 site I found that wasn't a scam.
Sorry for not believing in you guys lol but thank you for being true and making your customers happy with this neat device.
Good luck guys and don't forget to load up your firmware on the sd card before placing the card in your 3ds.

For whatever reasons my first card never arrived to me, another was eventually sent and arrived.
I had a few problems with the order not being processed for a few various reasons, though all reasons were valid. The annoying thing was it was taking a long time to get an answer for my questions. However when I received a response they were informative and polite.
Once I received the card it was great. Worked perfectly and I am more than satisfied with the product.

I was very skeptical of this site, as I had read several reviews of scams. I ordered my cards on 12/13 and they arrived on 12/28. I admit I was very nervous, but exactly what I ordered showed up. the contact was a little slow at times, but they always got back to me, and even gave me tracking on my order.
