R4 3DS .org

As is the case with all updates for the Nintendo 3DS, there is always a chance that R4 3DS Cards will be incompatible.  Thankfully, we have an entire team of developers working to always ensure that our cards will be amongst the first to work on the latest and greatest OS updates for the DSi, DSi XL and the Nintendo 3DS.

Once again, a new update has been released for the 3ds.  This time it's version 4.2.0-9 for all 3ds consoles world wide.  With this update there were no noticeable improvements, but it did render virtually every single 3ds flash card unrecognized by the console.  We went to work right away with the factory to have a solution for bringing back all of your homebrew games and applications once again to your hand held console.

Our latest updated includes the fix to have full compatibility once again on the 3DS system.  For those customers with the OLD sticker on their r4 3DS rts cards, you'll need to use the older firmware, and you'll work right out of the box.  If you have the cards with the NEW sticker (a banner, with NEW on it) on the card, just go to our r4 3DS firmware page and download the update file.

Backup your micro SD card, copy the update file to the micro SD, and then follow the instructions on your console screen to do a successful update on your 3DS system.  And remember, if you need help, simply contact us using your order message system or the contact us form on our web site.
