R4 3DS Update For 3DS V4.3.0-10 Consoles

As seems to be the trend these days, yet another Nintendo 3DS update has been released for all 3DS models world wide. Whether you have USA, Asian or European 3DS console, you're probably being greeted by the familiar Please Update message that has become the norm.

Quite often, these updates add some significant features. Things Nintendo has been working on to enhance and make your Nintendo 3DS experience even better. As a side effect, for those of us that have an R4 3DS card, in some instances, it renders our cards incompatible. That's been the case with the newest 3DS v4.3.0-10 update. And just as in the past, we not have new firmware available for some of our cards which bring back full compatibility once again so that you can continue to play your homebrew games and applications and all of the emulators and media you've come to now expect to be able to run.

Visit our R4 3DS Firmware section to download the newest firmware for our R4 3DS RTS cards, which now fully support the 4.3.0-10 update (and of course, are completely backwards compatible with all other versions too!)

It should go without saying as well, that if you have another R4 card, you should definitely NOT update your 3DS until the firmware kernel is ready for your specific cards. Updating now means that you won't be able to update the firmware once you're on the new version system OS for your console. We strongly urge and recommend that you wait until the firmware is released, update the R4 3DS, and then update your game system.
