R4 3DS .org

As always when there is a new system update for any hand held game system, we always ask all of our valued customers to hold off on updating their console, until we have the new firmware available for them to download and install on their R4 3DS and R4 3DS RTS cards.  This ensures that there is no incompatibility issues while waiting for our new firmware kernal to be released.  And with the latest 4.5 3DS update, we once again remind customers and our visitors alike that they should wait to update their 3ds systems until they have the new firmware loaded and installed on their R4 cards.  We're working on releasing the firmware and will have it available in our downloads section the moment it is available for you.

No system update is mandatory.  As such, a simple selection of NO to the update, will keep your 3DS consoles at their current system versions.  You don't have to worry about updating, as there are truly no major new features that you would bemissing out on.  In the next week or two, we'll have our new firmware online, and then once you have installed the firmware to your card, you can feel free to update your 3DS as well.

Just so no one worries.... even if you do update your 3DS ahead of our firmware release, worry not.  Once you install the firmware your card will be working and playing all of your homebrew apps and games just as they did before.  However, until the firmware is available, your card may not be recognized by your 3DS system.  This does not mean your R4 is broken, or that it doesn't work, it's simply that the card needs to be udpated in order for you to be able to use it again.
